during the winter you loss millage because the engine is not always running at Idea operating temps.
And Fuel fuel pressure i am losing millage and checked my fuel pressure it was a lil lower then spec and getting worse.

hey Johny Cetane, Im new to the diesel thang could you explain or have pics of where the pre filter in the fuel heater would be? THX

This will explain it. You don't need to buy any replacement parts. All the parts that you take off to clean it can be reused. I did mine every time I changed the fuel filter.

Its an AUTO..... My converter is shot and maybe the tranny.. When the converter locks up it shakes the whole truk....

Yup.
That would be my final answer.

Auto tranny ... don't feel bad, mine was doing that when I got it, now it's so far gone it will sometimes slip 100% when accelerating heavy while locked up. (Like somebody pushed in the clutch in a manual)

Almost hit my face on the dash,

What you gonna do about your tranny?? im thinkin of goin with a Goreand tranny. I smelled my tranny fluid and its not burnt or anything..

I'm just gonna find a stock low mileage converter and replace my 396,000 mile one.
If I wasn't so broke it'd be gorend for sure...

I've thought about bartering with him, trading him a race quad to build me a decent tranny.

my power was hurtin low in the bottom end, and my mileage was about 200 to a tank...i then realized that my air filter hasnt been checked in a while.....sure enough it was black as night (k&n). so after a recharge, she was back to huffin more air
