switch from auto to 5 speed

how hard is it to change 94 47rh to nv 4500 and how much could it cost?
a frind gave me the nv4500 conpleet.

if you look up "conversion" in the search engine on this site there is a thread about it.

from what they said if you need to buy all of the parts it will run $6000 plus
