really starting to make me mad now
I have been having trouble out of my rear hub only on one side.It ether backs the axle to hub bolts out or breaks them off I've tried to use studs it just cleans them off.And tonight 6 grade 8 bolts backed out and 2 broke in the hub.I've used loc tight no go lock washers don't help any suggestions would be appreciated.Btw I'm using 7/16 bolts is this the correct size or are the metric? This all started after me being lazy and letting a shop put a new seal in the hub he broke all the bolt off and had to drill and tab the holes out. I guess thats what I get for letting someone else to work on my junk.
Quick up date lost the outer bearing on that wheel today
so I decided to some investigating,it seems that the moron who drilled and taped the hubs decided to do a quick and dirty job and left parts of the old bolts in the bottom of the holes
no wonder the bolts kept coming loose so I'm fixing his crap job and goning to visit him on Monday
hopefully this will fix the problem.
