Default 1995 trans lines and cheap paper clip fittings

Recently let my dad borrow my truck and while he was driving one of the trans lines going to the coolant/trans cooler fell out and he drove it till it wouldnt move anymore Smart Dad HUH anyways i went to the local dealership thinking i could get the newer style quick connectors for the trans cooler but they said u have to buy all new lines too around 400 dollars NO Thanks i was inspecting a super duty about a year ago and it had some really nice trans lines flexible stainless but i cant find anything on the net about them anybody got any ideas

You can try a tranny shop. They have fittings from a chevy I think that have metal jaws inside. When you push the line inside the fitting the little jaws grab it. The same thing happened to mine. I now have aeroquip stainless lines with pertty fittings with a cooler and a big fan under the bed.
