Default A Few Auto Trans Questions

When I start off the line the engine runs up to some constant RPM and will stay at that rpm with the trans shifting until the speed levels off or I give it more throttle. Is this the way it should be acting? It just seems odd to me...maybe i've been in the car world for too long tho. Otherwise the thing shifts out great but I'd like to keep it that way for awhile so which of the upgrades should come first? the valve body or the torque converter?

yeah they do stay at a constant RPM, well at least the ones i have been in or driven. I would recommend you to buy both the valve body and TC, that should keep ya good for a while.
