On a 12V - straight pipe, 22-24 degress timing, and some big injectors

Good stuff - would have liked to see some number though.

I've never heard one idle like that either. It didnt sound right to me....yeah why did his turbo make that noise after his run? I would think adding a fuel plate would benefit the P7100 pump, to make it run like that am I right??

I am trying to get my truck to "idle" and/or "lope" like the truck was at the beginning of the video. What is going to make it for a 12v to sound like these at idle. Maybe this video is a better example of what kind of an idle or lope I am after:

A lot of timing will start to get it to idle like that, but the lope your looking for is probably more due to the super aggressive cam he's running. If you've ever heard an old Big Block with a hot cam in it, they do the same thing. With a diesel I'm thinking its probably not a good thing.

CumminsCowboy, a fuel plate won't do that at all, all the plate does is manage fuel delivery in relation to throttle, boost (after the AFC Foot has passed the plate), and RPM's. It has nothing to do with idle.

A cam will not make a diesel lope.
