Phil the 12v's do not have crossover tubes. Those are a 24V thing. Really the only way to make 12v's have that lope is ALOT of timing and ALOT of fuel. Not gonna be a real street friendly setup. Better have all the other supporting mods to do a setup like that.

I wasn't sure about the 12v's w/the crossover tubes...I'm stuck thinking 24v.

Now what are the downside of running a huge p-pump, large injectors and injector lines and advancing the timing do for fuel economy?

Thats the price you pay with the mechanical system. You can't just push a button and turn it "off". Once you set it up with big holed injectors, big pump and crazy timing, well its all in the foot as to how much fuel you burn.

That being said, you can still make a 450hp truck with mileage still in the 18-20 mark.

ok i'm not that knowledgable with this or spelling but i would have to agree a cam will make it idle rough. Why are you daily driving this rig or doing some kind of competition with it.......oh and can some one define "monster pump" for me im not sure what that means thanks.
