I bought a 96 a couple months back and have bin trying to work the bugs out . It had no fuel plate and the star wheel was screwed all the way in, I put a #100 in it and have bin working with the star wheel and thought I had it close .
Drove it to work yesterday ran great on the way there 52 miles. But on the way home I had the cruse set at 72 and it started loosing speed on a hill so I went to give it some gas and the peddle was on the floor. I exited and took blacktop the rest of the way home 30 miles or so. it progressively got worse , by the time I got home it would hardly run 35mph.
Replaced the fuel filter and drove it , seemed okay. Drove it to work this morning and it started loosing power again .
any ideas ?

BTW I had around 300miles on the settings with no problems , 200miles Saturday.
