Is 24V block the same as a 12v block

Default Is 24V block the same as a 12v block

I have a 95 dodge cummins looking to rebuild but also have a 98 cummins motor what is different between the two engines

The one big difference that I know of is the crank sensor the sensor extends internally on the 24 valve.
You would be better off selling the block or trading for the right one.

I agree .. I would build the 12V block ... sell the 24v block .. I believe there are weakness's in those block as well If I recall correctly .... I personally wouldn't chance it though
