Anyone use this fan and what do you set the thermostat at ? I have a 180° thermostat at ? Just a daily driver . Banks kit turbo,chip and exhaust. Thanks

 

we left the stat from factory setting, nice unit. down side is we noticed the relay over heats especially if you let it idle in summer heat. the relay power supply inside then fails. its mounted on the fan should where all the heat collects. as long as the truck doesn't sit it does work and works great at keeping cool. mind you this is a race truck and doesn't tow. it also wouldn't be hard to replace the flexalite relay with a remote mounted one or even move the original away from heat.

 

I bought a stand alone relay .. hooked to a stat switch .. worked with my mud truck for years never an issue
