A shift kit will help keep you in gear longer, there is a spring you can change on the valve body to make it shift higher. I just shift it manually from 1st to 2nd and then into 3rd (drive) when I want it to really rev out. I didn't put the shift spring in mine like I should have.

Ok.. idk if i want it to shift higher onve it gets past 2k rpm the trucj is gutless except in overdrive

This is true unless you have any turbo besides a stock one then it becomes a lot more fun to rev out.
