So I was at a local gas station and saw that they now carry b20, I was wondering if I can put that stuff in my truck and it will run normal or will it cause problems

 

yea i have a 97 12v and want to try it too. its way cheap here for the b20 blend. my neighbor uses it in his 04 powerstroke and has no problems. if people run motor oil and trans fluid in their 12v i think it shouldnt be a problem but curious if any side effects?

 

Haha yeah I assume that it would run it just fine I just don't know if it would have any effects

 

I heard you lose a little fuel economy but my neighbor with the powerstroke says he can't tell any difference from regular diesel.

 

I make my own and can run B100. 12 valves are the best for biofuel. So there shouldn't be any problem running it. At the bare minimum you'll need to replace your filter because it actually cleans deposits. I can take my B100 and clean off overspray. Safe on skin while doing it.

 

your fuel system will need fuel lines good for Bio diesel .. or they will turn to mush and pop .. I had this happen with B20 my self ...
