So I'm pulling the head off my 1997 12V to get it refinished because it's warped, and I noticed on the passenger side of the block there's quite a bit of pitting on the block it looks like. Certainly not as smooth as it'd be new. It's only got about 125k on it and I'm not sure if it'll be an issue of if these tiny pores will be an issue. Is this common? My first head job ever, so it all looks new to me !
