there is no poor mans route on a 6bt. As I am finding out, they are that cheap. that 300hp mark is less to get on a 6bt than a friggin clutch to hold it, if my pricing is about right.

Do you know yet where the oil leak is coming from? Also there are ways to reliably boost a truck like this at a decent price. Throw 300 HP out the window, go for for 500+/ Let me know how I can help/advise

 

Umm .. 500hp will cost ya a minimum of about 8K to build correct .. ( drivetrain not in cluded ) ... different than a gasser as we make so much TQ.. nothing stock lives behind a 50hp Diesel anything unless its in a big rig .. I have replaced many parts on the big stuff due to retards ploping a tuner in thier ( MACK, PB, KW, ETC ..) ... just to make a few more ponies .. killing U-joints, driveshafts, Clutches, diffs, Etc ..

Your advise would likley be a Hazard to someone Unknowingly listning and causing harm to thier engine ...

Just Advise from 20+ years under the hood .. not dissin ya .. Sure you know how to make it happen .. just be careful about the advise you hand out ... Were here to advise Intellegently .. no one wants to see another guys Bread winner truck go down ..
