Irritating fuel problem

Sputterd and dumb white smoke then died and wouldn't run, that's what my truck did when my timing gear jumped.

If the gear was completely turning free so that the pump could not work I would see that, I don't know enough to say for sure that slipped timing would prevent any fuel from moving through the pump.

Well it seems like I've tried everything else, so I'm gonna pull off the front of the engine and check the gears and make sure the kdp is taken care of while I'm in there.
Looks like I'll be buying a new injection pump soon though.
If anyone else has any suggestions please let me know. I won't be buying the pump for another week, so if anyone has anything else I can test please let me know.

Sounds like need to pull rack plug and verify the rack is moving .. could be stuck or jammed ...
