Sorry if I seemed like I was shooting you guys down, I completely agree with the general sizing you were suggestion just was looking for a bit more specific examples of turbos and their specific benefits. Like a ps62 compared to a htt 62/65/13 etc. But I did find a turbo I think I'm set on in the general dimension range you suggested for a price that can't be beat and with good feed back from what I can find, an agp 63/68/12 with a billet wheel. And at 1500 and a direct replacement for the he351 it's a killer deal. If you guys have any experience with agp please share thanks for your input

Also FYI the super phat shafts use the 71mm turbine choices of 12 or 14 housing as well and the silver series uses the 73mm turbine 14 cm housing. All are t3 and all can be a direct drop in for 2nd or 3rd gens.

That's a big thing for me at the moment. Getting something as close to drop in as possible as I'm running my cummins in a 96 Chevy 2500 and things are a bit tight on the turbo side. There's so much reading to do and I'm quite torn on the housing size and not sure if going with a 68 or 70 turbine would be beneficial in either direction. I'm basically set on a 63 compressor wheel but there are so many options out there at different price points and ease of installation as I really don't want to have to modify my dp but as long as my manifold will work with whatever turbo I choose changing to a hx40 flange wouldn't be the end of the world. I really appreciate all the insight as my turbo buying experience is limited and all I really have for info is forums. Not really a big diesel community here in winnipeg canada.
