I went ahead and bought my self a raptor 150 and installed it today. It didnt change a thing. I am getting plenty of fuel out of the bleeder screw but the truck still runs like c***. I guess i need a new injection pump. That is the only thing it could be. Right? If you guys have any ideas please let me know. I want to be 100% sure that is the problem before buying and replacing one.

Not necessarly , Bad injectors can cause real bad idle and running issues .. I would start at the injectors if your gonna try to fix anything ..

See if anyone local has a set around, drop them in and see if that solves the issues before going to crazy big dollar parts.

Well when I got the engine I ran it in the truck and it ran bad so one of the first things I did was put a good set of injectors on the engine off of the blown engine since they were marine injectors. I am almost positive I have a good set in there since when the engine blew they were racing it that would leave me to believe they were working when it blew up but who knows. Maybe I shouldn't assume.
I found a place near me that rebuilds injection pumps, so I already removed my injection pump and am going to take it and get it bench tested to see if it is putting out enough juice.
I thought it was going to be hard to remove but it only took about 30 minutes.

well if you have bumped the timeng and added injectors .. that 2X the timing advance there .. injectors have a way of advancing timing due to the fact that they deliver fuel sooner and more volume in less duration in crank rotation ... so you may wanna pull some timing out then .... just a thought

Ok so I got the injection pump rebuilt and $800.00 later it is running good. So now i am just trying to get every other little thing on the truck fixed before I can sell it.

A couple questions
1) Where is a good place to get keyed power for the raptor fuel pump?
2) My clutch is slipping and it is a brand new clutch with a turned flywheel, and it feels like it is out of adjustment. I thought the hydraulic clutches were self adjusting or do I need to bleed it in order to adjust it?

Thanks for all the help! At least it is running good now!

I bought the truck with the intention of selling it. The thing about the clutch is that it is brand new and it can't hold when it is engaged. It feels like it starts to engage way too late with the pedal to the top.
