Look for info like .. was the KDP ( killer dowel pin ) eliminated or delt with .. look for mods, what have they done, look for trans issues, drive it more than just a mile or two .. your ears will tell ya a lot, if your going to 4x4, make sure you get it to 65-75 mph , make sure its not a death wobble monster ....

You may also want to think about what your plans are in advance, the newer the 12V the better the P7100, (ie) you get into the 180 and 215 pumps. One thing I was totally caught off guard with on my first was the guy that owned it had had a 93 engine swapped in to a 95 and do not ask me how but was convinced by the shop that did it, that he was better off leaving it alone than swapping the P pump into the lower mileage motor. Me being green took it for a rip never looked at the pump until after I had bought it and went WTF.
