And so it begins
Well after much consideration and speaking to a few on here as well as other sites, I have started down the road of no return. Well if it is anything like the bug that bites when you start building an offroader any way . I just ordered my Head bolts from Tony and Crystal at Mighty diesel, very nice people to deal with. I have also been on the horn with Mitchell at DAP after a few PM's with Jkidd, by the way Jacob, you are terrible at return messages, it is a good thing you have Mitchell there . I will have a set of their 5x.014 SACs on the way tomorrow and hope that by the end of the month or very early next to be having them ship the 63/68/14 Non gated turbo they offer. Looks like the old girl gets to have some fun before the crappy weather returns.

in an auto truck, you dont need a waste gate as much ( because you can always be on the pedal ) .. unlike a manual when you shift you need to be able to take Drive pressure off the Exhaust , and when ya get back on the pedal it lights up real fast ...
true a NON-Gated will lag a bit more but ... you can drive them harder

it definitely is a road of no return, at least it was for me on my duramax. you always need a little bit more power. you get used to it and it doesn't seem like it is that fast or strong until you drive something that's stock and realize how far you have come.

I'm pretty sure it'll never be enough. I've yet to do anything and think afterward "finally, it's there!". I've never even had to get used to it, I'm chronically, perpetually unsatisfied with only flickers of hope at best. That all being said, commuting to work for a couple of years on a supersport literbike have made me somewhat difficult to impress with anything that has four wheels. When a kid on a few year old ZX6R wringing the **** out of it couldn't get away from me between lights the other day it was a bit of a reality check for me about how fast this truck actually is now, but it sure doesn't feel like it. All I ever think when I'm driving is I need more MORE MORE MORE...
