huh.. not sure if I personally would go with the thicker gasket .. and the factory gasket with a true flat head will take 60 with studs that are incorrect ..

So what exactly does this MLx head gasket gain over the Cummins gasket exactly ?? I'm curious...

its not .060 over like stated before acording to the link the gasket is .060 thick which is about what a stock gasket is.

AHH, so that is crushed thickness ? I thought the CUmmins OEM was .048" crushed ?

the ones I have here for mock up's are about .062" crushed

They hold up better to the high cyl temps and pressure and won't burn through as quickly.

OK... well.. might have to try one then .. anyone have any peticular experience with tem to note ?

Thats true, and i can attest to them holding 90lbs with no problem!

So .. what could one expect to get away with as far as the 12V is concerned ? Boost #'s ?

and are they beter than the OEM gasket ? Anything specific ??

OEM is composition ans steel and these are stainless sandwiched between 2 coated steel layers and a stainless fire ring.
