and how many of these have you had on the stand? a p pump with no fuel pressure is a broken pump.

Ended up being a bad lift pump 6 psi. New one is in 25psi

My destination WAS the Diesel shop, and I was concerned that the lift pump failure might have given my Ppump trouble. I was fortunate. My P-pump survived the ordeal with no ill effects. The guy who started the thread was fortunate, too. Get off your high horse. The problem he described was very similar to the one I had.

So was the diagnosis, so was the solution.

but inlines don't suck fuel. you said yours was failing and his was producing very low pressure but pumping. my point is still valid. inlines don't pull fuel they are supplied.
