It reads empty when running and while off but when I'm warming the glow plugs before I start it it moves up sometimes. Need help its really annoying with a fuel gauge that doesn't work haha

When it moves when warming the heat screens, its probably caused by a power surge. Mine does it now and then. I haven't got an chance to do it but you have to drop the fuel tank and pull the fuel float out. You won't change the whole thing. All you will change is the float part itself and the electronic piece that comes with it. You can get it off the internet or buy it from the dealer. Eithernway its about 65-80 bucks. I would rather get it from the dealer so it will have a good warranty. When you go or call make sure you have your vin# ready.

Unfortunatly your gonna need to pull the bed or the tank to make it happen ......

Or you can get a 16" whole saw and make an access pannel in bed ... LOL...
