or having to sleve the cylinders due to all that machining the rings are already doing ...

 

i figure i would just buy a rebuilt shortblock soon so it will be ready since i need my truck for work everyday. a few of my buddies want a cummins motor to build so one of them will get my old motor to build when it starts giving me trouble. i just wish i knew about how long till then. my mechanic said it could just keep going and going the way i drive and maintain it.
