Default what did i do wrong?

I changed my power steering pump today and well its worse now then before. I even switched the hoses around to see if it would make it different and nothen. i was turning the steering wheel end to end while someone else was turning so there should not be any air in it. also i know the brakes and p/s are connected and i also have no brakes if that helps

Is it holding fluid. When I did my swap I wasn't paying attention. Hooked up the power steering. But the return hose I hooked up to the vacuum port hahaha. Dumb I know cummins rookie mistake. Just another thought since you don't have brakes either

X's 2 on air in the system. It will likely foam up a bit until the air slowly bleeds out. youll have to work the brakes and turn the steering at the same time. The air will work its way out. Its a pain in the ***.........
