Well let's see, the wimpy drivetrain (and lets face it, a diesel truck is it's drivetrain), sex appeal of a schoolbus, turn radius of a cruise-liner, electrical gremlins like a poltergeist, seats with all the lateral support of a sofa... they nailed it all right: granddad's truck!

I jest, I jest. I hate Ford trucks, with an unreasonable, illogical passion. I hated 2nd gen Dodges the same way until I got stuck in one for a winter.

A lot of truth is said in jest, though. You're absolutely right about the turning radius; you can't turn the damned thing around in a 10 acre field. I don't hate the way they look, but that's completely subjective. As for electrical issues, to be fair, half of the threads on the second gen Dodge sections of this forum are about wiring nightmares associated with the headlights or failing overdrive circuits. The seats aren't bad, but I'm about a buck-thirty fully dressed, and I sh** you not, I had to put my kid's pillow pet in the seat to see over the steering wheel when I had one for about 3 months. I don't think my back ever touched the seat.

I liked second gen Dodges until I owned one. The drive train is the only reason I still cling to this sh** box. First gens are a hard act to follow, either way.

Want to see my former F250? It even had the super-gay, mega-rice "Power Stroke" decal across the top of the windshield. It's like seeing a picture of yourself in middle school; you just wonder "WTF was I thinking?"

LOL!

I'm pretty sure every American truck has wiring issues. At least the headlights are easy to solve. As for the overdrive, all I can say is: real trucks have three pedals. And if I didn't have to plow snow, I'd have a real truck...

Yup ... some more than others , the whole brand thing is totally subjective to how the owner drives and works there trucks as to the need and such ... if abused the finest automobile on planit earth will be a poltergist to fix in the end ...

I want one of these ....
.... love it
