bd uses that charger in there towing twins it is an s466/83/1.1t6 tho not a 16cm housing

i thought there towing twins were a 57/65 and a 64/71.

No, it's a 66. I have that set. Pretty happy with it too. I have boost all the time. My friend had the 475 and it took longer to spool up. He had an automatic though.

Bd's towing twins are the 57/65/12wg s300 over a s466/83/1.1t6

yeah thats the ones i was thinking of ... i like to tow ... i couldnt remember the exact details ....

just a question, i've never used one, but why aren't the garrett ball bearing turbos used much? Seems to me that you could run a larger charger and spool about the same speed as a smaller journal bearing charger, but i'm no expert.

$$$$ I think is the main reason and running water lines would be the second.

our garret guy just got back from classes and i also believe a big reason from staying away from them is that the bearings were non servicable. the newer units now are coming with replacable parts which make them much more pleasurable on the wallet when it comes rebuild time.
