Default 1996 2500 12v help

ok guys a recent truck i got i was pumping up i took the intercooler line off from the intake horn and radiator and there is oil in the pipe is that ok

the bushings inside the turbo are probably letting oil by into the intake. i bet that there is oil in the exhaust also. sounds like it's about time for a rebuild or upgrade.

what kind of upgrade just get another stock turbo

There will always be a small amount of oil leaked into the compressor and turbine sides as there is no positive seal. A small amount of oil can accumulate over 20 years of driving. If your oil consumption is normal, don't worry about it. Typically a quart of oil between oil changes is normal. The best deciding factor to overhaul or replace a turbo is shaft play.
