I have an adjustable one so should I just turn it in more so it takes more pressure to work it?

Ya,just adjust it and if that doesn't work, lift pump is probably bad or on its way!
How many miles you got on her?

Your lift pump, mine did the same thing. Then I had to replace the new lift pump because it was faulty.

He just said he replaced it not even a year ago.i'm pretty sure its not his lift pump!
To much fuel returning to the tank!

Right now I have crappy glowshit gauges in but I ordered some new ones so I will try adjusting it when I get them put in.

Ok I got my new gauges put in and my fuel pressure seem to be ok so do you still think it might be the lift pump causing the noise?

No one has anymore input?

You know that the lift pump will cause some line surge right? And that if the lines are touching they'll make a click or knocking sound. We've had to address a tick caused by fuel lines hitting together or against something under the bed in the past. Return line was a common noise maker and quick connects often caused a tick. Overflow valves when responsible for a tick often allowed irregular pressures or surging pressures. Might check the lines before continuing and honestly if the lift pump is still making good pressure I'd leave it be.

I know the fuel pressure will drop under a load but how low can it drop and still be ok?
