ok guys no lockup at all
first off ... u will need a hydraulic pressure guage and line to do this .. with out ... you can pop your trans and cause real issues ..
But .. there are two allen headed screws in the ..( think its passenger side of the VB .. and if i recall correctly ... backing out is = line pressure increase
tightning in = lowering pressure .. the small one is low end big one is upper end ( or high and low) ... been quite a while since i played around with mine ...
most transmission guys will tell ya about 160 -175 is high enough .. unless you have a bigger torque converter ( like a tripple disc ) .. and internals of the trans have been up graded.. like the internal snap rings and such as the increase in pressuer can and will snap the thinner snap rings ..
If i were you ... take to a reptuable shop and have the VB serviced ad tuned up .... it is worth it , and the peice of mind is a good thing as well ... they break it , they pay ...
you break it .. you pay .. ya know ? ...

No, you have one transmission which may be fixed by an adjustment a transmission shop can make for you, for not that large of a price.
I value the ability to drive my truck enough that it'd get into a shop for the adjustment, personally.

WE ALL understand the paying someone else ... if your broke now ... you'll be way more broke if you blow the ttrans is what he's getting at ....
But in all serious ness you should be just fine if you only go 1 turn on both screws .. nothing more though , Otherwise you might be really BROKE.. LOL.. no pun intended ..

ummmm.. did you by chance drop in gear at a relitivly high rpm ? ... like 1200 or so ... cause that will do it ... the sprag is a one way and with the torque you will break it way easier thatn a gasser ... broke mine w318.. about 1800 prm N drop ... had skipped timing .. had to drive home in 1st gear...
