Yup, I have a 215 w/887 and a HX35W .... i can peg my auto meter pyro out ... with out the plate in ... but only on lock up on a hard pull .... hence the leaking HG...

So that being said ... I think your guage, is obviously a problem ... when your pulling does your coolant get hott real quick ? or quicker than you would expect ?

I cant rember if you said you have or not but ... might wanna blow out the Rad. core and CAC core just for good measure - what you cant see could be the issue

I was planning on doing mine ....... and yes do just one bolt at a time and torque in sequence and to ARP spec...... u will need to do this probably 2-3 times in the first 90days .... just to ensure all is harmonious

so i called autometer and told them about my EGT problem thinking its my gauge. so they gave me a test to do and apparently my gauge is out of calibration so i have to send them my gauge for them to calibrate and check over and make sure there is no problems. I dont know how it could be that off calibration but i guess i will find out. I am also advanceing the timeing today to 16*. hopefully all goes well
