i got my truck to run, then it would run but only if you kept the throttle on and would stall if you let idle. so i fixed that. now the truck will idle and start within 3 seconds of cranking BUT for the first few seconds its on running you practically have to put your foot to the floor and it will slowly rev up after a bunch of sputtering and what not but after that you can leave the truck alone and it will just idle... makes no sence to me. must be loosing fuel pressure somewhere but not enough that i have to bleed it everytime.. anybody got any ideas?

My 96 was sucking air thru the fuel heater just above the pre filter. I removed my heater don't need it anyway, that made a world of difference for my truck. 24mm wrench for the pre heater bowl, 8mm allen wrench for heater screw. Then screw the pre filter back on. 10 minute job easy thing to try.

Just make sure all of your line connections are good, takes a while to get all the air out.
