ok so my search for a cummins has brought me to a buddy who is a cummins guru, hes got a 97 12v 3500 extended cab long bed with 140k on it, new auto tranny with 20k on it. he has replace all the front end crap that wears and went through the fuel system so no lift pump issues. also the truck was a dually but he converted it to single wheel with a leveling kit, 4 inch exhaust and gauges, and comes with a 9foot plow.... now the kinda bad but i think is cool, he repainted the truck this orange but is by no means a professional painter so there is small flaws like he didnt do the jams and didnt tap that well. also the drivers side rocker need to be cut out and a new one glued in. i can have all of this for 10k. is it worth it or should i keep looking???

is the trans chrysler reman or jasper?
does the plow work?

The reason I ask is because chrysler reman warrenty is transferrable but im not sure jasper is

still sounds like a deal but in the end 10k is a chunk of money so is the truck worth it to you

Not sure on the tranny brand and yes the plow works great, 9 foot. Im thinking i should get it since up here everything is either rusted to crap or way too much money

 

i paid around 11500 for my 96 12v, bone stock but a clean truck with one PO with 190,000. guess it all depends on the life the truck has lived.
