What's considered mild to cold weather for you?

Mine does the same thing. That's why they came with the plug.

more fuel will also make a truck start harder. those sticks probably arent helping anything just plug it in

Overall that sounds pretty normal. Keep it plugged in if you can, like already mentioned. If that's not an option, it won't really hurt anything, just warm it up before you get going.

diesels need 3 things fuel air and heat- lack of heat will cause this nothing out of the norm. whitish smoke is just raw fuel as long as it goes away once warmed up nothing to worry about. plugging it in will raise that electric bill

I've never noticed any change in the electric bill, and I leave it plugged in half the day for half the year.
