hard start in mild to cold weather
i have 94 12 valve 5 speed manual 90 hp injectors pump turned up intake.... i am having trouble with truck starting in mild to cold weather its starts right up but then whats to run rough and idle a lil blueish and grayish smoke once warmed up it runs fine. when i plug truck in i don't have this problem at all but i can't always have my truck plugged in

What's considered mild to cold weather for you?
Mine does the same thing. That's why they came with the plug.
Mild weather for me is like 45 to 0 F
more fuel will also make a truck start harder. those sticks probably arent helping anything just plug it in
Overall that sounds pretty normal. Keep it plugged in if you can, like already mentioned. If that's not an option, it won't really hurt anything, just warm it up before you get going. :tu:
timing and fuel pressure can also be big problems
heater grid in my opinion is not working
diesels need 3 things fuel air and heat- lack of heat will cause this nothing out of the norm. whitish smoke is just raw fuel as long as it goes away once warmed up nothing to worry about. plugging it in will raise that electric bill lol
I've never noticed any change in the electric bill, and I leave it plugged in half the day for half the year.
