Default turnover

I just got a new starter 6 months ago and it takes a long time for it to turn over! It does it even when it is warm and even if i start it a minute later after i shut it off. is there a problem? Thanks!

starter to small? batteries to small (not enough cranking amps)? corroded power wires to you starting will drag your power down to the starter.
