Just get some lenghts of pipe you need for your cat and muffler and clamp them up Bam you have done it for real cheap. Diamond eye is pretty cheap no banging needed on themnever messed with FBD though. I dont know what you have or what you want to have but if you just want it to sound louder then just get some pipe.

Alot of guys up here (Canada) run AFE. You can get a complete 4" system with no cat and the muffler delete pipe and muffer (run it if you want) for under $400. Or like he said you can just scab in a piece of pipe in place of the muffler, and other crap (soot trap/cat)

Look into ebay for a complete exhaust system. I bought my AFE 4" aluminized kit a few years ago for $285 bucks shipped, straight pipe kit. I chose an MBRP mufller to use rather than the AFE one. Way less than 400 bucks. A 5" shouldnt be too much more. That 12 valve will sound SWEET with a straight pipe 5 inch, but it may be obnoxiously loud. What do you have for mods, if any?

Right now i just got fuel plate forwards and boost turned up on stock turbo. It is tuned perfect barely smokes at wot but my exhaust now is coming right in front of my rear tire and talk about loud. But loud dont bother me i just want a deep loud not a raspy. And just want a full kit and be done with it. And im alright with keeping stock downpipe for now.

My '95 Ram 3500 has had the exhaust cut (or disconnected? hard to tell, but if it's been cut, it's a very clean cut) right behind the rear axle. So the exhaust dumps straight into the ground. Can I get a new tailpipe piece, or is a new system my only option here?

(I thought about looking in a junk yard, but there aren't many left in southeast Florida)

My 4" MBRP was $260 shipped on ebay. That was before I knew about our sponsors and the armory though

The quality of the MBRP is awesome though. Everything fit perfect, went together super easy and the joints were smooth and tight. Lined up perfect on the hangers and everything. A year later I decided to put a muffler in because people were complaining, and I got the MBRP one and everything came apart and went back together simple as pie. I highly recommend them.
