I actually noticed that my EGT is higher at WOT and low boost than high most of the time. I assume it has something to do with the relationship between high boost and high rpm, and the fact that these trucks are starving for fuel from the factory. So when I'm pulling a trailer up the highway at 10psi and 1500rpm trying to push my foot through the floorboard, it's got more fuel than air vs. screaming at 30psi and 2500rpm when the governor springs are pinching things off and there's way more boost than fuel to feed it. But WTF do I know? Not too much.

where does the boost elbow go ... into the boost port ?

On the bottom/front of your turbo you should see a vacuum line attached to the housing with an elbow fitting. You take that fitting out and replace it with one that has an adjustment screw on it... baddabing.

Some of the older 12 valves have the boost reference line to the wastegate on the back of the AFC.

yeah thats where mine is. is tightening the screw supposed to add boost?
