Default 47RE converter lock-up problem

For some reason my converter stopped locking up all the way the other day. The night before it was locking up tight like normal then the next morning it would just half way lock up. I've got a DTC 37 "Open or short in the Torque converter clutch solenoid CKT circuit or Voltage high or low at transmission Temperature sensor". I replaced the converter clutch solenoid a year and a half ago after it put my truck in limp mode, unlike now. How would I go about checking the TCC circuit and temp sensor voltage?

Thanks,

Ken.

Fuses and relays are all good? I scrounge up a schematic while you check that, if you haven't.

Keep in mind this is for a 2001 Dodge Ram, I can not guarantee the wires are the same color.

So to follow the power, here is a quick break down. The Trans Control Sol sends power to all the solenoids. The PCM controls the grounds for each solenoid.

Thanks man! I'm going to check everything tomorrow. The weired thing about this is that the converter locks up a little better cold. Once the trans is warm it barely locks. When it does my Rpms only drop by about 50.

Everything seems to check out and I'm no longer getting any codes but the converter still only partially locks. I'm starting to think it might be something in the VB. Could the valve that controls lock-up be hanging up? It locks better cold than hot which makes me think the converter isn't getting enough pressure to completly lock-up. Any ideas?

UPDATE:

A cold front blew in last night and dropped the temps lower than they've been since my problem started. I just drove my truck and the converter locked up hard like normal. After it started to warm up it would lock up and shutter some. After reaching normal temps it's back to not hardly locking up at all.

My 12v is doing this exact same thing. I was hoping you might still remember what caused yours to do it?

After banging my head against a wall and chasing ghosts for a few months I ended up buying an ATSG rebuild manual and going through the trans myself. The issue was with the valve body. I ended up with an HTS Ultimate Duty Valve Body which completely solved the lockup problem along with some other quirks. I also did the "pot mod" and ditched the ever failing TPS for a potentiometer in the dash.
