hey there guys I am new to the site. i have a 97 dodge ram 2500 5.9 diesel. so my prob is when i put the truck in 4 wheel drive it feels like it goes into gear and all it dose is turn the drive line in the. not the wheels. im just looking for any input at all on it.

 

vacuum actuator on the pasanger side axle tube is giving you fits

 

If you look through the forum you will find answers to just about anything that could go wrong with your truck. Check to see if you have vacuum to the front diff if not check on top of the transfer case. Welcome to the site I've learned a lot on here myself

 

your front aculater could have went out or it can be plugged up .. if you need the 4x4 for temp. and if you have manual hubs then you can undo the 4 bolts and take the fork out slide the ring over and basically flip the fork and it will work i have had my 87 ram charger do the same thing when i was on a trail so i did the temp fix and made it home
