tow mirrors
Thinking about getting a set of some tow mirrors.. the only thing is my dump is bare bones..... MUSCLE ARM power windows and locks and some big donky crome door hanger mirrors.. my question is should i just get the manuel tow mirrors or is it worth it to go by the bone yard and try and rig up some power so i can use the power mirrors?..would there even be a plug in the harness for power mirrors or am i just going to open up a can of worms? would really like some lazy man power but dont want to go to crazy just for mirrors.. just sick of not being able to see whats behind me! Any Advice?
Thanks

well... thanks for looking...... i picked up the manuel tow mirrors there cheaper and i just dont want to be bothered with all that wireing! theyll still look good and hopefully work good! just hope they arent always shaking off into nomans land on me!!
I think you did the right thing, I don't think it would be a simple plug and play for power mirrors. Door cover, switch, harnesses, it would have taken some work to get them operational.
The manual mirror shouldn't shake out of position. If they do, there is an adjustment that can be made. Unfortunately it involves pulling the glass off to do so.

the new mirrors fit perfect.. i just pathced the holes on the door and hit them with some touch up paint.makes the truck look so much better really wish i could adjust them with a button but.. as long as there is someone in the pasenger seat its not to bad.
