Hello all, I am looking to buy some new tires and I'm not sure what size to get. I would like to get 285/75/16's, however I'm not sure if they'll fit on my rims or not. They are the factory alloys and from what i measured are 8 inches wide. Height is no problem cause I have the 2 inch leveling kit, I am just concerned about the width of the tire fitting on the rim. If anybody can tell me if these tires would fit or if i have to go with a size smaller it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

You're fine with 8" rims.

 

I've got 'em on mine, no issues. IMO it's what these trucks should have come with in the first place.

 

I've got 315s on my factory rims I use them in the winter so I don't ruin my good rims

 

I had 315s on my factory 2500 rims, no problem... no lift... no rub
