No that was the OP that asked about stacks and intakes, I was simply giving a rant about Banks

400 bucks is just a lot of money for an intake. Just buy another aftermarket intake (like an S&B or whatever) and when at competitions, yank the headlight like the Dmax boys do, and you'll have plenty of fresh, cold air, im sure more than the banks gives

One pin and my headlight is out, and with the PPE airbox mod the cold air will go right into my airbox.... take that BANKS!

banks is way overrated...i agree. stock is good, if you absolutely want an aftermarket i would go with afe or s&b for the intake. as for stacks i wouldnt go any smaller than 5" and when i did mine i wished they were atleast 6". theres lots out there on those. grand rock, mbrp, silverline...

Sounds good but it just seems that having a headlight out while driving down the highway is very impractical. I do alot of highway driveing, im not going to be stoping and putting my head light back in everytime i need it. so when i say IMO banks has the best intake, its IMO. i see the scoop being better for me rather than removing a headlight.

you should check out a bill's intake for it, they are good priced and work very well from what i have seen. can be bought with an s&b filter on them, and the tube goes from a 3.5 inch to the 5 inch that they are developing. they make the turbo sound like a jet though

idk but when im cruising down the highway and my IAT is the same as the ambient temp, that's very good. modded stock does not do that

i used to run their super scoop but with 35's and stock height its not working so well
