Default Fuel pump and filter replacement on a 2002 Chevy

Are there any mechanics out there who know what it would cost to replace a fuel pump and a fuel filter on a 2002 Chevy Malibu? My mechanic says it shouldn't take too long, but he's charging me $730. Is that a reputable price for this type of replacement? Do you think I could find a better price?
