wow old farts not likin the black smoke? let him have fun thats what doing up a diesel is all about! were not all retired and hauling a 40ft rv ya know hahaha, and i find this site much more informative than duramaxforum...good work everyone, even u ornery old timers!

make sure you have a lot of fuel down low in the RPMS, then change your B0201 MAF chart so that you have a CONVEX curve that goes up from 0lbs/min to 80lbs/min on the second or third plot point, then smooth the rest to 80 as well, that will fool the ECM into thinking the engine is getting lots of air, when it really isnt, oh and make sure your desired boost tables are on the low side of stock, that will keep the turbo from spooling and cleaning up the smoke

You have EFI live you might as well learn to use it, then you don't have to ask people for smoke tunes etc.
