There's a guy locally that has gotten 80k out of these tires on a 2000 7.4L K2500. Rotates every 6k and babies his truck.

These are excellent tires, and they all come with a 50K warranty.

If your willing to spend the extra coin, Michelin are great riding tires and wear amazingly. All of their new LTX gen 2 tires have a 70k warranty, even E load tires.

For size you will want a 285/75R16 or 285/70R17. Those are a 32.6(+/-)X11.

Rotating tires every 3-6K will greatly improve the life span of your tires, as well as the ride quality.

Why don't you check the treadwear warranties. The Goodyear Silent Armor, BFG AT's, and I believe a few others all come with warranties of 40k-50k. If they don't last, they credit you towards your next set of tires. If they don't last, its not really a big deal then.

I wont buy anything but Pro-comps. Never seen a mud tire last this long with the exception of Toyo open country M/T's, but they're very expensive.

Our pro-comps have been used and abused, and they hold up really well. This was on mostly Ford trucks too, so they're not light. Had varietys of sizes from 31" (on Ford rangers) up to 37's on a crew cab 6.0 Ford. Used the All terrain, the Allterain extreme, the mud terrain extreme and the x-terrain. The x-terrain didn't do very well in the snow, and that's my only complaint. They lasted forever though for a V-lug style tire. We tortured them things with burnouts too. They went through a 4 1/2 minute burnout once that went down a street, looped around, came back, looped again and went back down.
