Whats the point of having a truck that smokes like freight train but does not have the power to back it up, it would be a poser. It would also make all the other diesel trucks think you are running something until they blew by ya. Good luck in finding some smoke.

just buy the edge juice with attitude already, it has an adjustable setting just for making smoke!!!(low boost fueling).plug it in and crank it up doesnt get much easier or cheaper.my truck smokes so much people stop or drive around my huge black death clouds daily!

you all need a smoke switch, which is easily made using a couple diodes, resistor, and switch with some wire and wire terminals.

 

Take the turbo off
Get HUGE injectors
Wrap a trash bag around your air filter
Dual Fueler kit with two 230% over stock Industrial Injection CP3's

u know what, when i first got my duramax, i wanted to smoke worse then a pot head in the middle of a 200 acre pot farm... it was a phaze for me but im over it now. The best form of smoke is not the thick black stuff, the best form of smokin is when you look in your rear view mirror and the other guys is about 5 truck lengths behind ya! now thats smokin to me. I got a intake, exhaust down pipe back, and the PPE Exceloator... and man when i have that thing on power level 2 i still leave ppl in the dust! and i still got 2 more levels after that.

 

The shitty part is, we all say that smoke isn't what u want. Yet a good 85% of pictures or videos of any modded diesel say online or in magazines is of the truck rollin smoke. Regardless of less power or harder on the engine its what the general diesel crowd wants. I like smoke, but only that small 5% of the time.

 

smoke is just uinburned fuel. it looks cool but its better to not smoke and use all the fuel to make power.
