WHERE DO I GET THEM AT!!!! buddy needs all the filters besides the oil filter for his truck, tranny, air and fuel is whats needed, 55 bucks is stupid for a factory filter.....and he aint paying 30 for a tranny filter, fuel filter is like 20.......and thats from the parts store.......

 

I never 'cheap out' on filters...if you value preventative maintenance then you should place some value on your parts...

That should be OK stuff....I dont know where you can get good deals on them though!

 

Tranny filter for $8 at any Allison dealer. Don't forget to swap the magnet over. TP1298B new style fuel filter can be had on eBay for $20 as well as the air filter. I would switch to the Amsoil nano-fiber filter if he plans to stay with paper.

X2 I get all my filters from there they have 2 oil filter listed if you go to the bottom of the page under filters by application. One is the oil and the $9 one is for the trans IIRC they're napa gold filters and they are the same as WIX.

 

I get all my Filters from Napa. Never had any probs and they seem to make me a good deal on everything. Just got fuel and spin on tranny for $45.

 

i try to get all my filters from wix if you go cheep on the filter you might as well throw a bomb in the crank case
