I don't know why it wouldn't. I buddy of mine wanted to get one, BAD! Turns out a baby on the way changes the plan. He isn't the kind of guy to impulse buy, researches everything. It will confuse the computer and the Edge, and as far as I know, the Edge has affect on the parameters the PPE controller will change.

boost isn't necessarily the answer, what pressures are you seeing with the edge on the highest levels? i usually hit 35-36psi with mine on my 415hp dsp5 tune

i get no where near 35, thats why i want a boost controller, my truck rolls black smoke on level 5 when im gettin on it. higher boost would clear that up and probably a bit more HP

I stand by getting rid of the edge, the tuning is not that great

Sell the edge, save the money you were gona spend on the boost controller and get EFI live or a pre-tuned ECM, you'll be much happier

I run a 415rwhp tune and it only smokes some on the bottom end and clears up real quick, and i can hit 35-36psi of boost, plus i have 4 other tunes I can use on the fly with a switch, one stockish tune, 2 tow tunes, one everyday tune, and one hotter tune, pretty much covers the gambit, oh yea and the tow tunes have built in turbine braking which helps to stop without using the brakes... works good with a load

yea i could prolly get 900 out of my edge, paid 1150 for it brand new and its been kept updated. but 900 Would pay for efilive and prolly most of my guages

it would only take about 20-30 mins to un-install the edge, 900 wouldn't pay for EFI live and gauges, but it would pay for a pre-tuned ECM and gauges

you can get pre-tuned ecm's from places like duramaxtuner.com, and some auto meter gauges should do just fine
