Default I Made It 3 days

Well i made it 3 days and had to order the Edge Juice with Attitude. I like it so far. One of the best options I like is the attitude monitor will show me what gear i am in and when the torque converter locks. The one thing i don't like is the tranny is constantly learning all the time and when you switch levels it shifts a little weird for a bit. The best thing it to leave it set on one level. The power comes on hard and i am looking forward to getting some numbers when we have a dyno day in May.

After a while it will learn the settings really quick, atleast my buddies does. You should be at about 385Hp, thats what his truck did, but I think he may still have the old engine.

I recommend you run your E/J on level 3/5 for about a week and give the TCM time to get situated. After that you can bump it up and you wont get the flared shifts nearly as bad.

Can't you shift it manually?

The Allison has a learning algorithym and will get out of sync when you add more power. The TCM has to relearn how to shift the transmission with the added power. You cant manually shift it in a race scenario because it wont shift when you want it to. Better for it to learn and do it on its own.
