No Problem, I really like the look of your exhaust, what exactly is it again?.....

BriteWhite, What if I just put an aftermarket intake on it?

This is a side by side comparison of an LLY (top) and LBZ (bottom) turbo intake mouth piece

Heres another picture showing the LBZ, a Kodiak, and LLY mouth piece, as you can see the LBZ has the same diameter inlet to the turbo, but is significantly larger everywhere else including the intake side

a CAI is going to do NOTHING on an LLY when the air is restricted that much going into the turbo

If you do get an LBZ mouthpiece you can try to get an LBZ intake(good for 550hp) or an aftermarket unit made for the LBZ, and if it were me i would get S&B because its high quality and the price is hard to beat

welcome and congrats on the truck. since you have a lly, i would replace the turbo mouth piece with a lbz or kodiac mouth piece, block the egr, replace the exhaust with a 4" or 5" straight pipe (get rid of the muffler and the cat), reroute the pcv, add a lift pump filtering system, fuel pressure shim kit or race valve, pyro and boost gauges, and then add a tuner or efi. save up the money to do a tranny build up because with the added power you will need it soon.
with a exhaust system, turbo mouth piece, fuel lift pump, fprv, and good efi tuning you will be over 500hp for sure.

Default my take on the situation

it all depends on what you want to spend and what you want to bring to the table. Me, i have a wife and daughter and money is tight, so i dont want to have to rebuild my tranny or anything major like that. They say the lly is good for 100 more horse over stock, so im going to get close to that. so far i have in the works, 3.5 inch straight pipe, bully dog tuner, exhaust manifolds, egt temp gauge, LBZ Kodiak MP, banks cold air with scoop, 2 inch lift in front and back, wheel spacers, rims, mud tires. some other ****, all of that runs below 4000 so its not going to destroy my wallet, and it will keep me in the range of hp i want so i dont have to rebuild anything and my mpg should jump up by about 7 to 9 mpg
